ICVR’s Lightfall Celebrates Nine Wins In The 45th Annual Telly Awards

In the 45th Annual Telly Awards, ICVR’s Lightfall has received five gold, three silver, and one bronze awards in nine different categories.

Los Angeles, California, May 23, 2024 – ICVR announced today that its animated short film Lightfall has received five gold, three silver and one bronze Telly’s in the 45th Annual Telly Awards in the following categories:

  • Gold Telly in People's Telly - Non-Broadcast
  • Gold Telly in Non-Broadcast - 3D Animation
  • Gold Telly in Non-Broadcast - Fully Animated piece
  • Gold Telly in Non-Broadcast - Digital Environments
  • Gold Telly in Non-Broadcast - Animation: Short Form (Under 40 Minutes)
  • Silver Telly in Non-Broadcast - Visual Effects
  • Silver Telly in Non-Broadcast - Virtual Art Direction
  • Silver Telly in Non-Broadcast - Entertainment
  • Bronze Telly in Non-Broadcast - Use of Remote Production

The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies. This year’s winners include Adobe, Calvin Klein, ESPN, LinkedIn, Mother Jones, MTV Entertainment Studios, NASA, the LA Clippers (NBA), PlayStation Studios, Sawhorse Productions, TelevisaUnivison and more.

Lightfall, is an animated short film that transports viewers to the 1600s, before the invention of electric light. It narrates the adventure of a candle maker who goes on a journey to find the light and delve into the electric universe.

Lightfall was created using ICTools' realtime animation pipeline and Unreal Engine 5.
